OUR STORY

CHRIS Recovery Ministries is a faith-based nonprofit committed to restoring individuals and families affected by addiction, incarceration, homelessness, and generational cycles my organization was founded from lived experience. After overcoming addiction and witnessing the devastating impact addiction had on my own family and children, as the founder I answered God's call to create a place where people could experience hope, healing, and a true second chance. My own journey revealed that lasting recovery is possible, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" Philippians 4:13. Recovery requires more than abstaining from substance use or sobriety it requires safe housing, employment opportunities, supportive relationships, being equipped with life-skills, and spiritual restoration. Ephesians 6:13 states: "Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.” My goal is to assist in equipping those with the opportunity for housing and employment for those that are involved in my program. Galations 6:2. We walk alongside individuals as they rebuild their lives “Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." Restore their families 2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" secure meaningful employment, and become productive members of their society. Psalm 90:17 "And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands for us; Yes, establish the work of our hands. Romans 12:2: "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will". Our mission is simple: Breaking Chains Restoring Lives. My story is rooted in faith, deliverance, healing, and transformation. I now know how God can restore what feels broken, bring hope into the darkest of places and suffering leading to salvation, turn pain into purpose, my misery into ministry all through Jesus Christ. CHRIS Recovery Ministries was born from a desire to help others experience that same freedom, healing, and new beginning through Jesus Christ. My heart is to walk alongside individuals and families who are facing addiction, destructive habits, life struggles, and spiritual brokenness. I believe that no one is too far gone for God’s grace, and every person has intrinsic value, purpose, and the ability to be redeemed and restored. Through Christ-centered guidance, recovery support, accountability, mentoring, and practical equipping, CHRIS Recovery Ministries exists to help people break free from old patterns, rebuild their lives, and discover the hope and identity that was intended to have in Christ.
